Evening meals

Birch Cottages’ speciality is the hospitality of Ray and Linda, and the quality of the meals served in the intimate, candle-lit dining room. Ray has 40 years experience as a chef and takes great pride in the presentation and quality of food that he prepares from locally sourced ingredients, and when in season vegetables from the garden. And though Birch Cottage does not have a liquor licence, guests are welcome to bring their own beer or wine to enjoy with their meals with no charge being made for corkage.

seared smoked salmon with hot tartar sauce
duck leg with passion fruit and pomegranate dressing
toasted figs with Dolcelatte and red wine vinegar and
honey dressing
